Nagaland Chief Minister Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Sports Facilities in Five Districts

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio inaugurated five state-of-the-art sports facilities as part of the first phase of the indoor stadium development program. These multi-discipline sports stadiums, located in Chumoukedima, Niuland, Noklak, Tseminyu, and Tuensang districts, aim to provide modern amenities for the youth. The Chief Minister announced the conversion of the Hornbill Futsal Festival into the Hornbill Sports Festival, covering multiple sports and receiving organizational support from the Nagaland Olympic Association. Chief Minister Rio also dedicated Chümoukedima district as a Sports and Education City, emphasizing the government’s commitment to sports infrastructure development across the state.
