Joint Resident Commissioner Wanyie Konyak Launches Nagaland Pavilion in Delhi

Joint Resident Commissioner of Nagaland House in New Delhi, Wanyie Konyak, inaugurated the Nagaland State Pavilion at the 42nd India International Trade Fair 2023 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on Tuesday. A total of 25 entrepreneurs from Nagaland are actively participating in the fair, presenting a diverse range of local products including Handloom, Handicraft, wood craft, banana basket crafts, various local soaps, and other Nagaland specialties. The overarching theme for this year’s trade fair is “Vocal for Local, Local to Global.”

The 42nd India International Trade Fair boasts participation from thirteen countries, with nearly 3500 exhibitors showcasing their products. Bihar and Kerala have been designated as partner states for the event, while Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh take the spotlight as focus states. This event serves as a platform for entrepreneurs to highlight and promote Nagaland’s rich cultural and artisanal offerings on a global stage.
