“Nurturing Newborn Lives through Community Facility Engagement”
Tuensang District Hospital took center stage in observing National Newborn Week with a focused event held at its Conference Hall on Thursday. The occasion garnered active participation from a spectrum of healthcare professionals, including Medical Officers and Nurses from District Hospital Tuensang, as well as the Chief Medical Officer and other healthcare experts.
Under the theme “Nurturing Newborn Lives through Community Facility Engagement,” the week-long event aimed to underscore the pivotal role of community involvement in safeguarding the well-being of newborns. As reported by DIPR, the gathering facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experiences among medical professionals, healthcare workers, and community representatives. The objective was to bolster collaborative efforts, ensuring the delivery of quality care for newborns.
