Commending Unity and Discipline, Celebrating Commitment to Nation
November 18, 2023: Today, the cadets and staff of 25 Naga Battalion NCC came together to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Colonel CST Swamy, the Commanding Officer, graced the occasion with a call for all cadets to dedicate themselves to the nation’s betterment, echoing the core values of ‘Unity and Discipline.’
Colonel Swamy emphasized the advantages of NCC participation, shedding light on the significance of A, B, and C Certificates in opening doors for employment in the uniformed forces. The celebration commenced with a poignant ‘Wreath Laying’ ceremony at the Mokokchung War Memorial, paying tribute to the sacrifices made by those who served before them.
The event reached its pinnacle with a noble act as 80 cadets and staff participated in voluntary blood donation, symbolizing the spirit of service and selflessness ingrained in the NCC ethos. This milestone celebration not only marks 75 years of the NCC but also stands as a testament to the commitment and dedication of the cadets and staff of 25 Naga Battalion NCC.
