Minister KG Kenye Encourages Youth to Rise Above Challenges at Chakhesang Youth Front Conference

In a compelling address, Minister for Power & Parliamentary Affairs, K.G. Kenye, spoke at the 14th Biennial General Conference of the Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) held in Pholami village, Phek district. The conference, themed “Rising Above Challenges,” served as a platform for Minister Kenye to share valuable insights with the youth, urging them to rededicate themselves in the face of various challenges.

Kenye stressed the importance of mental strength and healthy competition in overcoming life’s obstacles, motivating the youth to exercise their minds for success. Emphasizing divine intervention as a unifying force among Nagas, he underscored the significance of maintaining peace and unity within the Naga community for collective progress.

The conference also marked the release of the amended constitution of the Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF), showcasing the organization’s commitment to adapting and evolving to better serve its purpose.

Kiitsapo village received recognition at the conference, being honored with the CYF Award for “Best Performing Biodiversity Conservation.” This acknowledgment reflects the village’s outstanding efforts in preserving biodiversity and contributing to environmental conservation.

Agricultural excellence was also celebrated as the conference presented the Best Piggery Farmer Award, acknowledging individuals for their notable contributions to the field of pig farming.

Minister K.G. Kenye’s address aimed to inspire and guide the youth, fostering resilience, unity, and excellence in the face of challenges.
