Rahul Gandhi Initiates Nagaland Leg of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra
Commencing the Nagaland leg of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Viswema village in Kohima district, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid homage at the Kohima War Cemetery, honoring soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War II in Nagaland. Addressing the public in Kohima, Gandhi emphasized the significance of the Northeast in the idea of India, stating that a yatra was initiated from this region to highlight its importance. Speaking to the media in Chiephobozou Town, he expressed concern over broken commitments to Nagaland by the Prime Minister, calling for meaningful conversations and collaboration to find solutions. Gandhi asserted his party’s commitment to justice, addressing social, political, and economic issues during the yatra.
