10th Mimkut Mini Hornbill Festival Unites Cultures in Dimapur
The 10th Mimkut Mini Hornbill Festival, held at the Sports Complex in Phaipijang Village, Dimapur, brought together diverse cultures under the theme “Unity Through Culture.” Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, graced the event as the Special Guest on January 16, 2024.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of the Kukis, Dr. Chang commended the active participation of youth in various dances. He emphasized the unique and rich cultural traditions of the Nagas. The festival featured captivating cultural dance performances by Molvom Cultural Troupe, Maova Cultural Troupe, Phaipijang Cultural Troupe, Kuki Union Dimapur Cultural Troupe, and more.
