Tragedy Strikes as Militants Attack Manipur Police Outpost in Moreh
In a tragic incident today, two Manipur Police Commandos lost their lives, while two others sustained injuries in a bold attack by suspected Kuki militants on a police outpost in Moreh. The assailants, armed with sophisticated automatic rifles and RPG bombs, targeted the outpost, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire with the Manipur Police personnel. Helicopters were deployed by the Manipur government to evacuate the deceased and injured police personnel.
