Dimapur Airport is set for significant development, including expansion and the construction of an arrival lounge and cargo terminal, in response to the growing passenger traffic. Geetha Sahu, the Director of Dimapur Airport, shared this information during a panel discussion on ‘Leveraging Nagaland’s potential by boosting logistics’ at the ongoing second Nagaland International Trade Expo in Dimapur. With an average daily passenger traffic of around 1400, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) is responding to the demand by planning the addition of an arrival lounge to enhance the airport’s facilities.
