Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee to Nominate Candidate for Upcoming Lok Sabha Election

The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has unanimously resolved to nominate a candidate from Nagaland for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The decision was reached during a PCC Extended Executive Committee Meeting convened at Congress Bhavan, Kohima.

According to NPCC, the meeting deliberated on critical issues pertaining to the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. In alignment with the Congress Party’s commitment to combat the alleged corruption and communalism propagated by the ruling BJP and its allies, the NPCC affirmed its resolve to contest the election with an INC candidate in Nagaland.

Prominent Congress leaders, including former Chief Minister K L Chishi, former NPCC President K Therie, NPCC President S Supongmeren Jamir, and Working President Khreidi Theünuo, addressed the gathering during the meeting.

The decision reflects the party’s determination to offer an alternative vision and leadership to the electorate of Nagaland, aiming to uphold democratic values and address the concerns of the people.
