Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio Engages with Newly Appointed Officials and Organizations in Chumoukedima

Chumoukedima, May 14, 2024: Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio convened a series of meetings with newly appointed officials of educational institutions and organizations in Chiimoukedima today. The discussions aimed to foster collaboration and address key priorities for the development and welfare of the region.

Colonel Arvind Nautiyal, the newly appointed Principal of Sainik School Punglwa, had the honor of meeting Chief Minister Rio during the sessions. Rio expressed confidence in Colonel Nautiyal’s leadership abilities, expressing optimism that the esteemed institution will continue to thrive under his guidance.

Additionally, Professor Dr. A Elayaperumal, the newly appointed Director of NIT Nagaland, Chümoukedima, had the opportunity to discuss the institute’s future plans and initiatives with Chief Minister Rio. Rio extended his best wishes to Dr. Elayaperumal for a successful tenure and expressed his hopes for the institute to further empower young people through innovative skill enhancement programs.

Furthermore, representatives from Western Chakhesang Hoho and Naga Council Dimapur also met with Chief Minister Rio to discuss matters related to the welfare, peace, and development within their respective jurisdictions. Separate meetings were held to address specific concerns and formulate strategies for collective progress.

The engagements underscore Chief Minister Rio’s commitment to fostering cooperation and addressing the needs of various sectors within Chumoukedima and beyond.
