18th May 2024: The 11-day long Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C Diploma Course, organized by the Nagaland Football Association under the All India Football Federation (AIFF), concluded yesterday 17th May at IG Stadium, Kohima. The course was led by William Koso, a coach educator for both the AIFF and the AFC, with Azho Sophie serving as the course coordinator.
A total of 21 coaches from across Nagaland, as well as participants from Assam and Lakshadweep, took part in the course, which included both theoretical and practical components. The results of the course will be announced at a later date.
During the closing ceremony, K. Neibou Sekhose, President of the Nagaland Football Association, highlighted the increased responsibility of coaches in developing football within the state. He encouraged the coaches to make a significant impact by striving to develop high-quality players.
