Headhunting to Beatboxing’ Documentary Unveiled at 77th Cannes Film Festival

The 77th Cannes Film Festival in France saw the unveiling of the first look and teaser for the feature documentary “Headhunting to Beatboxing.” The event was graced by Academy, Oscar, and Golden Globe Award-winning composer Padma Bhushan Dr. A.R. Rahman, who revealed the film alongside Abu Metha, Advisor to the Chief Minister and Chairman of the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), and Theja Meru, Chairman of the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA).

Directed by Rohit Gupta and produced by A.R. Rahman, “Headhunting to Beatboxing” explores the fascinating journey of rhythm and sound, tracing the evolution of music through generations. Rahman described the documentary as a celebration of the universal rhythm that unites humanity through its diverse expressions. Abu Metha highlighted the film as a collaboration of many creative minds, with significant contributions from TaFMA and the visionary direction of Rohit Gupta.
