May 27, 2024: Joshua Sumi, former Deputy Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and four-time legislator from the 13 Pughoboto Assembly Constituency, met with NPCC President Shri S. Supongmeren Jamir today at Congress Bhavan in Kohima. During the meeting, Sumi renewed his Indian National Congress (INC) membership after recovering from a prolonged health issue.
