Nagaland Municipal Elections to Feature Historic Women’s Reservation
Kohima, June 1, 2024 – After two decades, Nagaland will hold elections for its 39 municipalities on June 26, featuring a significant milestone with a 33 percent reservation for women. The elections will encompass three municipal councils—Kohima, Dimapur, and Mokokchung—along with 36 town councils.
