May 29, 2024: The bridge near E Service Station on National Highway-2 between Viswema and Jakhama has been critically damaged due to incessant rain. PRO Kohima Police has announced that all heavy vehicle traffic on this route will be temporarily suspended. Additionally, the PRO advised all passenger and light motor vehicle operators to avoid the route until further notice. The public is requested to cooperate with this precautionary traffic advisory.
