Southern Angami Youth Organization Issues Ultimatum for Prompt Completion of National Highway 2 Renovation

The Southern Angami Youth Organization (SAYO) has issued an ultimatum to the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) regarding the expedited completion and renovation of National Highway 2 in the Southern Angami region, specifically the stretch from Phesama to Khuzama Village. SAYO has set a deadline of November 25th for the completion of this crucial roadwork.

The organization has expressed its frustration over the prolonged delay in finishing this road, which has been causing significant inconvenience to the general public and commuters due to its deteriorating condition. The condition of the road has not only inconvenienced the public but has also become a source of embarrassment for the region, despite continuous efforts from concerned citizens to advocate for its improvement.

In light of the urgency of the situation and having exhausted other options, SAYO has resorted to issuing this ultimatum to NHIDCL. They demand that road construction projects for this stretch be undertaken expeditiously and that the work is completed without hindrance by the specified deadline. The organization has also cautioned that failure to comply with this ultimatum may result in consequences for the agency responsible for maintaining the road.

This ultimatum reflects the pressing need for the timely completion of critical infrastructure projects to benefit the community and the general public.
