Satakha Villages Resolve to Provide Teacher Accommodation

February 9, 2024: Villages in the vicinity of Satakha have unanimously resolved to offer accommodation necessary for teachers assigned to their respective posting villages. This decision was reached during a consultative meeting attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from the education department, local governing bodies, student organizations, and teachers. The initiative was spearheaded by Minister for Roads and Bridges, G. Kaito Aye.

In addition to addressing accommodation needs, the meeting resolved that teachers should prioritize their primary teaching duties and refrain from engaging in external services unless they can fully commit their time. Furthermore, a comprehensive enrollment drive was agreed upon to encourage parents and students to enroll in local government schools. This initiative will be undertaken through collaborative efforts involving local leaders and community organizations.

The collective resolve underscores the commitment of Satakha’s villages to support the education sector and ensure conducive working conditions for teachers, ultimately contributing to the holistic development of the region.
